London incognito
Some will recognise the features of Angèle Metzger, who we already spotted in the streets of Marseille for summer 2019, captured by the lenses of photographer Julia Champeau and videographer Thomas Lachambre. Now accompanied by Mathilde Warnier and Connor Newall, she forms a new clique that reclaims the urban setting. We follow this inseparable trio through the alleys and stalls of a London in slow motion, almost shot incognito.
Street life
Under the bold lights of the city, their smiles warm up winter and echo the bright shades of their endlessly layered fabrics. Lilac, pine green, clementine, mouse grey. Nestled in these knits and canvases that they’ll keep all their lives, their bodies revel in new freedom and celebrate comfort designed to last. Urban, natural, unisex and always timeless, their relaxed movements reveal each personality and never conceal it. For truly personal clothing to keep forever.
AMV Journal is a space dedicated to encounters, discovery and travel. Every week, explore the musts, portraits and inspirations of American Vintage and its creation studio.
This autumn/winter 2019-2020, summer friendships continue in the chilly streets of London. Follow the tempo of this new collection.
Their timeless silhouettes are a perfect match with the pavement and the Formica tables of a neighbourhood coffee shop. On them, the unisex La Maison AMV pieces seem like family clothing, capable of crossing the eras and travelling through time while looking as fresh as ever. Exclusive vibrant colours – nude, camel, lilac, pine green, blood orange or the blue of raw denim – shake things up, dancing in harmony like a poem.

Endlessly layered or worn over bare skin, the knitwear lets each personality shine. It’s a weekend of uncontrollable laughter, improvised parties, unexpected encounters, moments suspended in time.
A story that they’ll want to tell before starting all over again.
