Visit the MEP 

Since opening its doors in 1996, the MEP has become the photography HQ of Paris. Locals and art fans flock here to discover the avant-garde photography scene or rediscover contemporary artists.

Have lunch at Fulgurances

Paris’s 11th arrondissement is well-known for its restaurants – and rightly so. Amongst the capital’s must-try locations is Fulgurances L’Adresse, a cool bistro where you can grab dinner after a long day out and about.

Opened by the eponymous collector, this bookshop offers a wide selection of art, architecture and photography books. In the back, you’ll find a gallery space featuring up-and-coming artists.

Buy flowers at the market

With its dream location on the Ile de la Cité, at the very heart of Paris, this former bird market now overflows with colourful flowers and green plants. So chic!
