American Vintage takes you behind the scenes to see how its essentials are made. In this ‘AMV Factory Tour’ video series, we meet the women and men behind the Marseille brand: a focus on know-how and personal snapshots rolled into one. For this third episode, we spend a day in Tunisia, where our denim pieces are manufactured.

Quest for the perfect jeans
In this Tunisian factory, Salaheddine, Wafa and Éric design the American Vintage denim pieces. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the site allows the teams to soften the cotton canvas, assemble it, dye it, wash it, stonewash or bleach it and stabilise it – with recycled water. The result: jeans in multiple colours, designed to last (and stay in fashion).

AMV Journal is a space dedicated to encounters, discovery and travel. Every week, explore the musts, portraits and inspirations of American Vintage and its creation studio.
