The new AMV x Be.Cause Club collab

American Vintage teams up with the Marseille association for a change. This time, 100 pouches were made from our leftover fabrics. Here’s how it happened.

The collab

At American Vintage, leftover fabrics and deadstock are often brought back to life. In this case, the CSR team worked with the Marseille association Be.Cause Club to create 100 pouches. These creations, intended for women with cancer, were sewn by the 13’Atypik, an association also based in Marseille, which employs individuals in difficult situations (people who didn’t complete school, disabled people, victims of violence, ex-convicts undergoing rehabilitation). A completely circular, local and inclusive project. Distributed free of charge, these pouches can hold everything these women need for chemotherapy sessions.

“American Vintage is the first brand that contacted us. We started working together on an event and they supplied 200 aprons to hand out to all the participants! As always, the pouch came about after a phone call. We wanted to give clean beauty products to women undergoing treatments and we wanted to put them in a pretty pouch that was easy to take everywhere. AMV is a brand that does incredible things outside of the public eye.”

Shared values

This isn’t the first time that American Vintage has collaborated with the Be.Cause association. As they share many of the same values, this isn’t much of a surprise. Based in Marseille, outside of a hospital setting, Be.Cause provides care and treatments to women suffering from cancer – and finances it 100%. This includes sports, beauty treatments and nutritional advice. So that women can reclaim their bodies.

“The association was founded in 2024, driven by the desire to help women afflicted with cancer, but in a new way. We wanted to offer them services in premium spaces to give them a sense of normality at a time when they might feel marginalized.”
