1 colour, 5 crushes: red

Red, the star colour of the season, now catches eyes on a handful of American Vintage pieces. A perfect opportunity to look at our carmine crushes.

#1: American Vintage red

This season, American Vintage reinterprets some of its essentials in tones of red. Vintage burgundy for the IZUBIRD sweatshirt, vintage chili pepper for the MASSACHUSETTS polo neck T-shirt and mottled pepper for the EAST sleeveless cardigan. Shades that pop in your wardrobe, to pair with more neutral pieces.

#2: The restaurant RORI

RORI, which just opened at the top of rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud in Paris, is always packed. And it’s no surprise! It’s the place to go for mouth-watering (XXL) pizza slices and small sharing dishes. For their second restaurant, Angela Kong and Antoine Bernardin (Bouche) teamed up with chef Florent Peineau, who put together the most desirable menu of the season.

#3: The Tokyo Style book

Published by apartamento, this work is a compilation of photographs by Kyoichi Tsuzuki. The timeless shots capture an authentic and intimate glimpse of Japan, ranging from kawaii cuteness to the subversive atmosphere of the capital.

#4: Artwork by Jonaé Michelle

California-native Jonaé Michelle draws her inspiration from the art of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Her passion for texture gives voluntary warmth to her very personal work, which we can’t get enough of.

#5: The Marin County Civic Center

Located in California, this imposing building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright — in fact, it’s his most impressive public project. Inside, the floor is paved in powerful brick red tiles, in perfect contrast to the mountain of greenery that fills the space.
