For this new playlist, we decided to focus on the new wave of French labels, in charge of unveiling the up-and-coming European artists who will shine this year and gradually make their way into all playlists.

We’ll start with an extremely prolific Parisian label, Cracki Records, and two of its young talents: the slightly pop-lounge Ménage à Trois and the very promising Agar Agar, whose bright future is already being whispered about on the music scene. We continue with Animal Records, whose Kanzi protégés are best in show. And there’s still room to talk about other great discoveries, starting with Kitsuné, who continues to offer the ultimate in electro-pop. Their latest star, Parcels, delivers disco-pop that takes up the coolest 80s beats, while remaining perfectly in the present with a hint of Daft Punk. To conclude, we linger in the electro arena with the label Nowadays Records, which presents us with what might just be the hit of next summer: the track “I Got You” by the duo Leska. We can already see ourselves sipping a daiquiri under a palm tree. Care to join us?
