In honor of the 32nd International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères, Nicolas Ouchenir has designed a t-shirt recreating the Villa Noailles in collaboration with American Vintage.
During this festival, several artists will display their work, including Nicolas Ouchenir, the iconic fashion calligrapher. This self-taught craftsman loves to play with words and breathe new life into this age-old technique. By adding an artistic dimension, the illustrator combines this rigorous expertise with a lyrical touch. He works with the most prestigious houses and notably creates the invitations for many runway shows.
Nicolas was delighted to accept the invitation to collaborate with American Vintage for the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères.
The brand gave him complete artistic freedom to make a t-shirt recreating the Villa Noailles. The result is a graphic reinterpretation of a symbol of modernism constructed in the early 20th century by Robert Mallet-Stevens.
A unisex model will be sold exclusively at the Villa Noailles as of April 24, 2017. Unisex models will also be available in a selection of American Vintage stores and on www.americanvintage-store.com on april 24, 2017.
Sales price: 40€
American Vintage supports the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères. 10€ of each t-shirt sold will be donated to the Villa Noailles.
