Sensual, plush, varied… This autumn/winter 2019-2020, American Vintage knits spread their wings and take every form.
The wonderful thing about winter is that you can slip into the most comforting materials of the year. In a wardrobe that celebrates the reign of natural fibres and Italian yarns, alpaca, Merino and angora wools compose an ocean of softness and warmth that you’ll love to sink into.

Cosy, heavyweight, knitted, form-fitting or extra-large, the autumn/winter knits are adaptable and flexible, worn on bare skin or teamed up with high collars, jackets or coats. Ideal for layering, a downy mohair and alpaca knit flirts with a doily-style lingerie stitch. Playing with contrasting textures, influences and colours, the ribbed sportswear finishes of a boxy jumper underline the urban touch of denim canvas. Brushed, wool becomes extremely cloudy, covering its tracks and blurring patterns. With a vintage feel, geometric jacquard recalls winter sports and the 80s with just the right dose of kitsch.
The iconic “Boo” knit

The historic House knit, “Boo” explores a variety of versions. In single ply, openwork and ultra-soft, its unique blend of alpaca wool and Merino wool follows your every move. Worked in double ply, its structure is reinforced and its colours get bolder. From a wraparound to a polo neck to an ultra-simple boat neck dress, Boo knit modernises the House essentials around a single story: that of comfort, durability and authenticity.
