For the sixth year in a row, American Vintage partnered with the Hyères International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories. On the programme: the announcement of the American Vintage Photography Award winner and other surprises to discover on site.
From 13 to 17 October 2022, American Vintage takes up its headquarters at the Villa Noailles for the 37th edition of the Hyères Festival. Ten finalists are competing in the photography category. One of them will take home the American Vintage Photography Award, which the brand created in 2017 to support young talents. Each artist presented a one-of-a-kind print based on a selection of American Vintage pieces. The photos will be displayed during the entire duration of the festival at the Villa Noailles.
A multifaceted jury
Every year, the festival puts together a panel of professionals chosen to appoint the winner of the current edition. This year, the jury is presided over by Pierre Debusschere (photographer and director) and is composed of: Lucy Chadwick (gallery director), Rebecca Cuglietta (studio manager), Carlijn Jacobs (photographer), Pauline de Montferrand (digital creation director), Pieter Mulier (artistic director), Evelyn Simons (curator), in addition to the duo formed by Emma Charrin & Olivier Muller, who received the Grand Prix of the Photography Jury last year.
