Angélique Giraud in Montmeyan
“I go there with my sweetheart and friends every summer. It’s a picturesque village in the countryside, not far from the Gorges du Verdon. We do tons of outdoor activities, like taking boat rides and doing paintball. Our best summer evenings are spent in this town, under a starry sky.”

Elsa Brangé at Les Roches Blanches (Cassis)
“Playing pétanque!” Simply iconic, this 5-star hotel on the French Riviera is located between Cassis and the calanque coves of Marseille. It offers an unblocked view of the Cap Canaille sea cliffs. If you can’t stay overnight, go there for a sunny lunch overlooking the sea.

Margaux Bergassoli at the Vallon des Auffes
“Every summer, I go to my little cabin in the Vallon des Auffes. This little fishing port is my corner of paradise, right at the heart of Marseille. I spent my entire childhood here and I continue to visit every summer. It’s a warm and welcoming place, with direct access to the sea and flooded with sunlight all day long.”

Benjamin Terrasson at Estagnol Beach (Bormes-les-Mimosas)
“By the sea, of course!” Spanning across 475 metres, this beach boasts incredibly fine white sand and is surrounded by parasol pines. A great place to spend the afternoon with your family, this cove will delight young and old alike.

Juliette Tyran at Le Venus du Gaou
“This is my favourite place for an afterwork drink or a sunny Sunday lunch. On the menu: super-tasty burgers, fresh seasonal products, cheese or charcuterie boards, and local beers and wines. I feel like I can really get away in this simple and authentic spot. And the wild and pristine Gaou Island is right nearby with its pétanque courts for the must-see summer tournaments.”

Julie Valère at Le Pavillon de la Source
Not far from Marseille, this site is a real getaway in itself. The destination? A haven of peace in the middle of an equestrian centre, where barbecues are organised all summer long. A great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, if only for an evening.
