The David Bowie exhibition was devised by the Victoria and Albert Museum and was a resounding success in London in Spring 2013. It is now being exported across the world and a slightly reworked version will be displayed at the Philharmonie in Paris from 3 March to 31 May 2015.
Victoria Broackes and Geoffrey Marsh, Curators at the Victoria and Albert Museum, selected over 300 objects in an original and unique collection. These objects include handwritten songs, original costumes, photographs, films, video clips, stage sets, and also David Bowie’s musical instruments and album artwork.
The David Bowie exhibition focuses on Bowie’s creative process as a world icon in modern culture and a pioneer of pop music, following his ever-changing style as he often reinvented himself across a five-decade period.
It tells an unusual story and shows the influence of a unique and eccentric artist on popular culture.
This exhibition offers an incredible audiovisual experience, produced in partnership with Sennheiser.
