Six years ago, Clarisse Castan set down her bags in Paris – enough time to test an array of new places. She made a shortlist of her top spots just for us.
A gym: 21 Blanche
“I need to go there to stay up to speed and take a step back from everything. It’s my haven of peace. When I don’t reserve a class, I can relax in the pool or hammam.”
21 Blanche — 21 rue Blanche, 75009 Paris.
A restaurant: Bonnie
“It’s on the top floor of SO/Paris, the last hotel that we opened in Paris. There’s a dessert there that I just can’t resist, a cookie that’s absolutely amazing.”
Bonnie — 10 rue Agrippa d’Aubigné, 75004 Paris.
A party spot: Lapérouse
“My best friends run this place. You can reserve several ‘salons’, which is exactly what I did for my birthday. I often eat rigatoni with caviar there – delicious.”
Lapérouse — 51 quai des Grands Augustins, 75006 Paris.
A hotel: Le Royal Monceau
“It’s an institution. I’m very close to their teams. I love organising my appointments here with agencies, partners or even the celebrities we contact.”
Le Royal Monceau — 37 avenue Hoche, 75008 Paris.
A place: the Eiffel Tower
“Even though I’ve been in Paris for six years, it still takes my breath away. I go by it every day! My dream is to sleep in it.”
The Eiffel Tower, 5 avenue Anatole France, 75007 Paris.
