American Vintage travelled to Portugal’s artistic capital to take portraits of the women, men and children who embody the many faces of the season. A singular and multi-faceted street casting that tells the story of a collection that’s extremely cool — just like Lisbon.

A sweet summer
We step into the sun with the flirty feminine looks of Delicatessen. Flowing, voluminous and ultra-soft materials, such as velvet and fluffy knitwear. Colours from butter yellow to vintage marshmallow pink by way of vintage splash blue, shades that dress up the polka dots and stripes.
Summer continues with a clear nod to the south with Farmers Market and its pieces that pay tribute to the slow pace of Provence. Between fruit and floral prints, the sunny tones reveal a vintage strawberry red, a lemongrass green and a melange atmosphere blue infused in comfortable and free-moving pieces.
To make this season one to remember, we head to the 80s. With Laundry, silhouettes go deliciously retro. Peach yellow, neon petunia pink and Provence violet stand out on knitwear, denim and fleece.
A relaxed season
For men, we start by slowing down. The Calm in Chaos wardrobe is the ideal uniform for leisurely strolls and a chill attitude. Here, cotton, fleece and denim. There, a palette of pastel tones, from ecru to café au lait by way of nettle green.
To prepare for summer adventures and fun, Countryside Gateway unites the best of technical fabrics and rugged wear. Lettuce green, canary yellow and terracotta brown take their marks on waterproof materials ready for the great outdoors.
And to take a real break from work, we slip into Summer Lab, a wardrobe that’s definitely out of office in several shades of grey, from Mirage to Caviar. The wide cuts, cotton and stripes are an irresistible invitation to take your time … in the sun!
