Giaro Giarratana is a multitalented creative who works as a photographer, director and entrepreneur. Between a photo shoot for his Instagram account and the development of his skincare brand Giomi, he talks to us about style, inspirations and his typical Sunday.
Hi, Giaro! Tell us about your relationship to fashion.
I became interested in clothing at a very young age. It’s in my family, because we all love fashion. My first job was in the fashion industry. I think that’s what really guided the direction I headed in. As for my style, it’s not easy to define. I feel like a chameleon. I like to test new things. But, more often than not, I opt for your well-made pieces in neutral shades, which have that special something that changes everything.
What’s your favourite piece of clothing right now?
I love my orange sweatshirt. I want to wear it every day. In fact, I’m kind of obsessed with it. I really have to force myself not to wear it all the time.
What’s a typical Sunday like for you?
I’m freelance, so I’m usually working. This doesn’t bother me, because I love what I do. But this means that my Sundays are often pretty busy.
Your favourite Sunday outfit?
Even when I’m working, I like to feel at ease. I generally go for an orange sweatshirt with SPYWOOD jeans – not as comfortable as a jogger, but this prevents me from being too lazy when I work.
