¡Hola Frankfurt!

American Vintage chose Frankfurt, at the heart of Europe, for the location of its new store. After Munich and Cologne, this opening reinforces the brand’s privileged presence in Germany.

Frankfurt is a city where modernity goes hand in hand with culture and authenticity. The famous Museum Riverbank, constructed on the banks of the Main River, stands against the metropolis and its many skyscrapers. A beautiful juxtaposition, in line with the brand’s values.

For this special occasion, we would like to offer you a little city guide of our favorite places.

Favorite bar: Pearly Gates

This excellent cocktail bar is named after the famous guitar owned by Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top.

The Pearly Gates has a rock ‘n’ roll soul, set off with sophisticated decoration and bronze lamps for an industrial touch. As for the mood, with its dimmed lights, it’s both casual and fun.

But the cocktails really steal the show! Chocolate lovers will melt for the surprising “Chocolate me,” in which the eponymous ingredient is blended with rum and lemon. Don’t care for cocoa? Try their bestseller instead, the Spiced Rum Old Fashioned, a slightly spicy cinnamon-based cocktail.

Address: Kleine Hochstrasse 20. Frankfurt am Main.

Favorite restaurant: Jamy’s Burger

If you’re in the mood for a great homemade hamburger, Jamy’s Burger is the place for you.

At just 22 years old, three friends dreamed of creating a restaurant where burgers were anything but fast and greasy.

With a focus on taste and quality, they now offer their customers 100% homemade burgers from start to finish, including the buns, which are baked on site each day. Prepared with fresh, premium ingredients, they are free of food additives and artificial flavors, as if you made them at home!

As for the location, it’s warm and urban. Natural wood pairs up with industrial-style metal lamps and a few touches of green. A real break in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Address: Neue Kräme 14-16. Frankfurt am Main.

Favorite spot: Main Tower

Amongst the many skyscrapers that hover over the city, Main Tower, which stands 787.4 feet tall, is the most famous of them all. It was actually the first skyscraper in Europe with an all-glass façade, imitating the most famous American buildings.

At the top, a panoramic platform offers a breathtaking view of Frankfurt.

And if you want to treat yourself to an exceptional meal, the restaurant on the 53rd floor of Main Tower offers a fine dining experience and the unique setting of its view 613.5 feet above the ground.

Address: Neue Mainzer Strasse 52-58. Frankfurt am Main.

Favorite hotel: Wyndham Grand Frankfurt

We never get tired of the sky views in this beautiful sprawling metropolis, which is why we stay at the Wyndham Grand Frankfurt.

This contemporary hotel offers suites such as the River or Sky suite with an incredible view of Mainhattan, Frankfurt’s business district, which gets its nickname from its famous New York counterpart.

Address: Wilhelm-Leuschner-Strasse 34. Frankfurt am Main.
