Photography enthusiasts will love hearing about American Vintage’s trip to Les Rencontres d’Arles, an unmissable international photography festival that takes place every summer.
The exhibitions are often produced in collaboration with museums and French or international institutions and are placed in heritage sites across the city, such as the Church of St. Trophime, Église Saint Anne, Église des Trinitaires and Église des Frères Prêcheurs. One example is the “MMM” exhibition by Photographer Martin Parr, set to the musical backdrop created by Matthieu Chedid (Matthieu Meet Martin).
Workshops are organised, with the Discovery Award for a photographer or photographic artist whose work has been recently discovered or deserves recognition.
